Your information, clearly explained
Privacy policy
Zerith is designed to provide personalized health, fitness, nutrition, and habit guidance without requiring an account.
Effective July 30, 2026
Information stored on your device
Your profile, goals, detailed Apple Health history, lab history, plans, messages, meal logs, and progress entries are primarily stored on your iPhone. Zerith reads Apple Health data only after you grant permission.
Zerith does not write data to Apple Health and does not store personal health information in iCloud.
Information sent to our service
When you request AI-assisted coaching, plan generation, lab extraction, meal analysis, or meal suggestions, Zerith sends only the information needed to fulfill that request. Depending on the feature, this may include your instructions, profile name, age or sex, health or fitness summaries, goals, lab values, meal text, or a meal image you select.
Lab documents are processed on-device where possible. Zerith removes obvious identifiers from extracted text and lets you review the text before it is sent. Meal images are downscaled and stripped of image metadata before transmission.
Anonymous identifiers and purchase verification
Zerith does not create a user account. It creates a random installation identifier in your device Keychain and uses Apple App Attest to protect the service from abuse. The service verifies the paid App Store transaction. Installation and purchase identifiers are converted into one-way, purpose-separated identifiers before storage. We do not use these identifiers to identify you in the real world.
Product analytics and diagnostics
We collect a small allowlist of workflow events, such as whether onboarding was completed, a plan was accepted, or a recovery option was selected. Analytics do not include health values, lab names, message text, prompts, or photos. We also record request status, duration, token usage, and estimated service cost to operate and improve Zerith.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to operate and secure the Zerith API and Anthropic to generate AI responses. These providers process information to deliver and protect the service under their commercial terms.
Anthropic states that standard commercial API inputs and outputs are automatically deleted within 30 days, except where different contractual terms apply or longer retention is required for usage-policy enforcement or law. See Anthropic’s retention information.
Retention
Encrypted response recovery data is deleted after 15 minutes. Raw usage and product-event records are deleted after 90 days; aggregated operational totals may be kept longer. Anthropic retention is described above. On-device data remains until you delete it or remove the app.
Your choices and deletion
You can decline Apple Health and camera access and continue using available manual features. You can remove local data from Zerith Settings.
The delete action also requests deletion of pseudonymous server records associated with the current installation and resets its anonymous identity. Using Zerith again starts a new, unlinkable installation identity. Because Zerith has no account, data from an installation that has already been deleted may not be recoverable or linkable to a later request.
How we use and share information
We use information only to provide, personalize, secure, maintain, and evaluate Zerith’s health-management features. We do not sell personal data. We do not use health or fitness information for advertising or marketing, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Health disclaimer
Zerith provides general educational health, fitness, and nutrition guidance. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment. AI and nutrition estimates can be inaccurate. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.
